Borough Candidate - Chertsey Riverside
When I moved to Chertsey over 15 years ago it felt like a 'one party state', and unfortunately, for much of Chertsey, it still is. Meanwhile it's clear that decisions that affect us all may not be properly challenged when national or regional party policy could take precedence over defending our local interests.
I believe our Council will represent your interests more effectively, more democratically, and in a fairer way when we have an effective joined up opposition, who can hold them to account and ask the awkward questions and that you would want an answer too. This is why I'm standing for a fair, moderate and cohesive local LibDem representation, to do my bit for Runnymede.
If elected I'd bring a lifetime of public, private and own business management experience to bear and would work hard to ask the questions you would want answered.
