Why vote Lib Dem in Runnymede in May 2007?

30 Apr 2007

Alan Whiteley Lib Dem candidate in Englefield Green East writes:

I believe in responsible investment in facilities for the whole community. I would not be beholden to the patronage of the ruling Tory elite on Runnymede and afraid to take a stand against - and vote against - unpopular and unreasonable proposals to close of cur back on community services. I also pledges to tackle drawn out and bureaucratic procedures adopted by Runnymede council that cause delay for otherwise worthwhile projects."

What is happening to all the Community Facilities in Englefield Green ?

Queen Elizabeth House?

Victoria Street Toilets?

Corby Drive Youth Centre?

Cricket Club?

Playground on the Green?

All under threat for one reason or another?
