You would think that one of the prime responsibilities for a council is to communicate with its residents and yet, at the Full Council Meeting of Runnymede Borough on 4th March 2021, a document was signed off by the Conversative administration that commits to minimal engagement with residents who live in Runnymede.
A four week consultation has been launched by Surrey County Council (SCC) to gather local information on the usage of the A320 between Chertsey & Woking. After a Lib Dem request to the Chief Executive of Runnymede Borough Council, we are please to see that parking charges have been suspended at the Library Car Park in Chertsey (next to the River Bourne gym), whilst the Covid-19 vaccine rollout is being carried out at Chertsey Hall.
